Service Model

All services at Navigation Behavioral Consulting are individualized for each child based on the child and parents' needs. Programming is developed based on initial assessments using the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, parent interview, functional assessments, and other applicable assessments. The BCBA then uses evidenced- based methods to develop a plan for your child based on the principles of behavior analysis. The BCBA also uses autism related resources and books within your child's programming such as Relationship Development Intervention and Teach Me Language. Data collection is used to ensure that your child is making progress. If a lack of progress is seen, programming is modified.

Within the services a heavy focus is placed on developing language and communication. Typically, when an autistic child has the tools to communicate, the child excels in other skill areas and inappropriate behavior decreases.
